I have a request from a few students, they wish to know how long a course is. A simple way to get an estimate is to calculate the total time of videos in the course. At this time I have to do it manually but it would be nice to have it automatically sum up the video time

Learnworlds calculates estimated time based on word count and lets you override the time if your want for lessons. They don't tally there (but I recall that Thinkific's Powerups do that). It would be nice to have both-total course time based on an algorithm, and actual video run time.

Really good point Mair Swartz!
On that note: a course can also entail audio tracks and thus, we can add as part of the course estimation anything that has duration.
Having said we can offer the option to calculate the course duration automatically, and if a course creator has added some other assignments, then we can manually tweak the course duration.
