When doing user testing with non-techies I found many of purchasers could not open the product they purchased. Probably due to the fact that the color of the "View Product -->" is too weak.

There is more value given to the students when they can interact with fellow students beyond the course long after the class is over... Now this is where we take a page from the social media platforms and their strategies. You want them to frequent your website in order to sell them your next course. You do this by promoting and selling it while they are taking the courses, as an add-on, or upsell. The community space will give so much value if done right. Also don't forget to add "Buttons" in each course that takes them directly to the community page for that course.

What about having one forum and restrict the channels?

Need some solid approach to do this. If you have something on mind, let me know

Sadek Hossain: one simple way for now would be the ability to add a clickable link in the cover page area of the community - that way I could create a cover that says 'return to lessons'

Sadek Hossain circle and skool are great examples.
When user accesses the platform, the community threads can be the first thing they see as a feed , and then click directly for courses / recordings under relevant section.
events, courses, if these were directly accessible from the community, it would be perfect. one way might be ability to link tag these. other might be that these are channels.

Agree with that! I would like to have the community feed on the homepage for members and links to courses, events and other content.
