Context:
We operate a B2B2C platform serving school communities in Mexico. Our end users are parents who access the platform through their schools. A significant barrier we have identified in our onboarding data is first-login friction a large percentage of invited users never complete their first login.
We believe Google Sign-In would materially improve this by:
  • Eliminating password creation as a barrier at first login
  • Reducing support tickets related to forgotten passwords and account access
  • Improving activation rates for users who receive email invitations
  • Providing a familiar, trusted authentication method for mobile users
Requested functionality:
  • Google OAuth 2.0 sign-in button on the login and registration screens
  • Ability for existing users to link their Google account to their current credentials
  • Admin-level option to enable or disable Google Sign-In per platform
This feature would be particularly valuable for platforms targeting parent and family audiences, where reducing friction at the entry point is critical for engagement.
Please let me know if this is on your roadmap, and if so, an estimated timeline. Happy to provide additional context or participate in any beta testing.
