Add Bulk Tagging/Segmenting Upon Importing .CSV Contacts to Forms
planned
Lightstar
In Dashboard: Marketing Contacts --> Forms --> Import Contacts
Please add the ability the assign a bulk tag upon importing a large .csv file list of subscribers into the form. This is needed to properly segment (or tag) different types of lists we are importing of our subscribers. This way, we can send targeted emails to specific groups of people who signed up to a lead magnet form, either when they fill out the form, or when we import a list from another email provider. It's not doable to have to sift through thousands of emails to tag individuals later on.
The only way to tag segmented lists correctly is to bulk tag them separately upon import, but you don't have this feature right now. If we import multiple lists currently (that are already segmented from another provider, for example) into that one form, we have no way to tag them as segmented lists. And, so if we do import them, how would we be able to segment/tag those lists later (when you do implement bulk import tagging)???
Super important for people who are migrating from other email campaign platforms into Ezycourse. Most of the others already have this ability to set up segments upon importing.
Thanks in advance, as Sadek said he will implement this soon, but I'm just making note of it here as well. 😁😍
(Also keep in mind that when you do build this feature, there also needs to be a way to cross-reference those separate lists so that if someone unsubscribes from one tag/segment, that we have an optional checkbox to have them auto-removed from all tags/lists. This would prevent upsetting people we send emails to that unsubscribe from one tag, but then we continue sending them emails because they are also in another tag. So as to prevent duplication somehow too. 😉)

I think the same as you. It would be indispensable for us to be able to tag the contacts we import because it would allow us to segment and better organize our database. That is indispensable for email marketing, creating audiences. I support it.
