Sharing the meeting in the community or using the meeting share link is a web version of Zoom and does not have the capacity to change view settings to grid.

Using the copy participant join link uses the Zoom App, which does allow user to change views. The links and variants for Zoom should be consistent across the system. If you use the wrong link everyone joins in the variant with speaker only view, you need to get everyone to leave, set up a new zoom and resend new links.
