Digital Products: WISIWIG Editor not working for YouTube video insert
under review

I just tried to add a YouTube short/reel video URL into the description field, via using the WISIWiG editor in the Digital Products editor for a product, and it's not working. Although the URL I have is correct, when you insert the link, nothing occurs except just a blank box with a large black border around it. I'm showing you a screenshot of what I see below.
This is the link I'm trying to add into the description area for my digital product:
And, this is the Digital Product on Ezycourse (see description area):
And, the screenshot attached is what I see when I save the product. It seems to work if I were to insert a video from the gallery, but NOT from using the insert YT video option.

I was going to just put in this request, as I spoke with team this morning about the same issue with YouTube Shorts.
For me, it's crucial to support this vertical video format. 95+% of my traffic is on mobile. Hope the team will consider supporting YouTube Shorts! 📱

Amani Saaduddin Hi Amani! I just wanted to update you on this issue. I think this is specifically related to YouTube Shorts URL's only. Because I have a lot of YouTube shorts that are public, and the URL's for these shorts as noted above DO NOT embed into the WISIWIG editor.
However, I tried this with a few of my unlisted YT videos on a few other products, and those YT videos embedded just fine. For example on this product here: https://lightstarcreations.ezycourse.com/product-detail/444-music-activation-bundle-(includes-all-4-mp3's)/2240
So, could you let me know why it's not letting us embed YouTube shorts videos? I could use just the "video" embed instead of the "YouTube" embed, and then just insert from my Ezycourse gallery, as I do have all these shorts uploaded into my Gallery. Except for the fact that these videos will also be part of a membership Tier I have set up, so I don't know if they will play or not publicly after embedding them, because of my paid membership.
Please advise on this so I know what to do to get the videos embedded into the description areas of my digital products. Thank you!
Amani Saaduddin
Lightstar: Yes, you're right, shorts aren't supported at the moment. If you have them uploaded in the gallery you may use them. Being a part of paid membership won't affect and they will show up. Thanks.
